A few days ago (23.03.2015) IBM has released the new Informix v12.10 xC5 version which was normally foreseen for the 4th quarter 2014.
The focus of the new release is on Time Series and JSON Compatibility. Furthermore there are some new features and/or enhancements in the fields of migration, administration and warehouse issues. Finally bugs of the former version 12.10 xC4 have been fixed.
In the following a selection of the most important new or enhanced features:
- Rolling Upgrades for High-AvailabilityClusters
- Limit Session ressources
- Larger maximum tape sizes for Backups
- Warehouse Accelerator enhancements
- Time Series & JSON Compatibility
We recommend updating to the actual Informix release.
